What if I told you that other people are in control of the kind of life you live? In control of your happiness and prosperity?
If I asked you this, face to face, you’d probably react by saying “No way, Martin. Nobody controls my life but me.”
Yet many people blame the fact they’re not living the life they want to live on others. Some even feel they are victims of society.
That “the man” won’t give them a job, or a raise. That big corporations have all the money, and won’t give a regular person a break.
Well I’m here to set the record straight.
People don’t control you, you do. And people don’t hold you back from living the life you want, you do. Any blame placed elsewhere for your current situation is misplaced.
The fact is, wealthy people think differently than poor people.
Just like Part-Time Entrepreneurs think differently than people who go to a job every day.
Entrepreneurs think that living life means moving upward and onward, not being stuck in the average life. They think no matter what your past is, or what your current situation is like now, your past or current state does not have to determine your future.
Look. You can be a victim or a victor, but you can’t be both.
That means if you feel stuck in the Employee Trap, stuck in the average life, only you can choose to break free. Only you can move ahead into your bright future, instead of staying stuck where you don’t want to be.
A lot of people who want more out of life think about it and think about it. This can go on for years for them, causing heartache, frustration and disappointment.
Then one day they decide to make what they want happen. To go out there and get it. And you know what happens next? They say, “Man, I wish I would have done this years ago.”
If this sounds familiar, I’d hate to see you wait forever to start living life on your terms. Only to wish you had done what set you free, a lot earlier.
So why wait? When you have the life you want to life to gain? Don’t blame others for you not having what you want in life. It’s yours for the taking. You just have to decide what you really want, and go out there and get it.
Until next time…
