Planning to Make 2014 Great? (Or Settling For Just Another Year?)

As the holidays are quickly coming up, so is a new year. Which means it’s time to ask yourself a few very important questions.

Have you taken any time to think about how 2014 will be for you?20142

Are you planning to make 2014 great?

Or are you settling for just another year?

The fact is, next year can be much better for you than last year. I know people who have had their best year ever, 10 years in a row, year after year.

Are they special? Do they possess secret powers that most people don’t have? Absolutely not. They just knew what they wanted, and went out there and made it happen.

They started by knowing where they were, and where they wanted to be. They set goals and wrote them down. Then visited those written goals frequently, as they moved to where they wanted to be.

They didn’t just focus on goal-setting… they focused on goal-getting, taking action every day to design and create the life they wanted to live.

Just imagine what your life would look like, if you stepped up, and made every year your best year yet.

Well you can make that happen. It’s just a matter of doing things differently than you have been in the past.

The actions, thoughts and intentions you’ve had over the last few years have gotten you where you are right now. If you’re not happy with that place, the life you’re living now,

You know what to do.

Just replace what you did previously with new, better actions, thoughts and intentions. Then make a commitment to yourself and your family, to stick with your new way of thinking, doing and being.

If you are serious about living a better life, do what I’m suggesting for the beginning of 2014… January, February and March. Three months, that’s all I’m asking.

Then at the end of March, take a look and see how far you’ve come. See how different your life already is, than it was from 2010 to 2013. Feel how different you feel than you did just one year ago.

I assure you, you will notice a difference, after only three months. And you’ll be fired up to continue what you started, and make 2014 your best year yet. Then your momentum can roll right into 2015, as you make that year your best yet, too.

See how this works? It’s all about getting started. And putting a plan in place for going from where you are now, to where you want to be in life.

You… living life on your terms, for the rest of your life. Living a wonderful life of doing what you want, when you want. Providing value to others, and being handsomely rewarded again and again.

So as you get into the holiday mode this year…

Think about what lies ahead. 2014… whether you make it great, or just make it a repeat of last year… or worse. And remember, you are in control of your own destiny.

Just like an athlete can put in the work, the time and the sweat to go from Worst to First… so can you. It’s all about how bad you want it. And your commitment to yourself.

So when you’re having a nice Thanksgiving with your family and friends, think about the life you want to live. Think about what you can do in 2014 to get the ball rolling. And more importantly…

Think about how bad you want it.

If you want it bad enough, you’ll get it. Whatever your Ideal Life looks like… you’ll get it. Because you want it badly. And are willing to go out there and make it happen.

Go out there and make it happen!

Until next time…

Profits are better than wages,

Martin
